SKUPREME vs Cin7

Cin7 comes from inventory and accounting rather than from marketplaces, and it shows in both directions. It has manufacturing and financial depth SKUPREME does not, and its published plans meter the thing multichannel sellers use most: integrations. Two on the entry tier, six at the top.

Which one fits your operation

Choose SKUPREME when

  • You sell on more channels than a Cin7 tier includes and do not want integration count to be a pricing lever.
  • Your order volume is spiky - Cin7 Core meters orders annually, so a strong Q4 can consume the allowance early.
  • Purchasing, inbound freight and multi-node placement are the hard parts of your business.
  • You want warehouse capability without upgrading to Cin7's top tier to unlock it.
  • Your warehouse needs have outgrown your Cin7 tier and you would rather add a layer than upgrade the whole plan to reach it.

Choose Cin7 when

  • You manufacture. Cin7's material requirements planning has no equivalent in SKUPREME and is a decisive advantage if you build products.
  • You want inventory and accounting tightly coupled - Cin7's heritage is exactly this and it is very good at it.
  • You need a published price and a free trial before talking to a salesperson.
  • You are a smaller operation on two or three channels, where the Standard tier is genuinely well priced at $349 a month.

Read the integration count first

Cin7 is one of the few platforms in this category that publishes real pricing, which is to its credit and makes this comparison easy to do accurately. Cin7 Core Standard is $349 a month with 5 users, 6,000 orders a year and 2 integrations. Pro is $599 with 10 users, 24,000 orders and 4 integrations. Advanced is $1,199 with 15 users, 120,000 orders and 6 integrations. Cin7 Omni is quoted. For an accounting-led inventory business those numbers are attractive. For a seller on Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Shopify and eBay, plus a 3PL and an accounting package, the integration allowance is the binding constraint on every published tier, and additional connections are quote-only.

Annual order caps behave differently than monthly ones

Cin7 Core meters orders per year. Standard's 6,000 orders is 500 a month if your business is flat - but ecommerce is not flat. A seller doing 300 orders a month for three quarters and 2,500 in November and December lands at roughly 5,200 for the year and looks fine on paper, right up until a good Black Friday puts them over. SKUPREME prices on monthly order volume, which is less elegant but tracks a seasonal business more predictably. Neither approach is wrong; they just fail differently, and it is worth modelling your own curve against both.

Two different centres of gravity

Cin7 comes from inventory and accounting

Its lineage is DEAR Inventory, and the strengths follow: material requirements planning, bills of materials, production, landed cost and tight accounting integration. If you manufacture or assemble, that is not a feature list, it is the reason to buy. SKUPREME has no MRP and no equivalent, and would be the wrong tool for a business whose hardest problem is a production schedule.

SKUPREME comes from marketplaces

Our lineage is multichannel selling and third-party fulfillment, and the strengths follow: channel catalog sync with per-channel overrides, routing across 3PLs and FBA, inbound freight, carton optimization and rate shopping. If your hardest problem is that inventory is scattered across five channels and three warehouses, that is the reason to buy.

What is gated where

Cin7 Core moves capability upward through the tiers rather than charging for add-ons, which is a cleaner model than most. Material requirements planning starts at Pro. Advanced warehouse management and returns management start at Advanced. Unlimited inventory locations, barcode scanning and 24/7 support are on every tier. Cin7 also offers a free trial, which almost nobody else in this comparison set does - if you want to touch the software before a sales call, that alone may decide where you start.

You do not have to reach the top tier to get a warehouse system

Advanced warehouse management sits on Cin7 Core's Advanced plan, which is also where the integration allowance and the order ceiling jump. That means a business whose warehouse needs have outgrown the Standard or Pro tier is being asked to buy a much larger plan to solve one problem. SKUPREME can be the warehouse layer instead, running receiving, putaway, counts, lot and batch tracking, rule-driven waves and client billing, while Cin7 keeps the inventory and accounting depth it is genuinely strong at - including the manufacturing and MRP we do not offer. For a business that manufactures, that combination is often better than either product alone.
